My story

Hi, I'm Sara, and I believe ethical production should be accessible and stress-free for independent brands. I connect fair trade enterprises and ethical manufacturers with conscious businesses, guiding them through every step of the production process.

Coming from a fair trade background, I'm passionate about working in true partnership with suppliers. I believe mutual respect and shared values are the foundation of lasting, meaningful business relationships.

My Background

With over 12 years working in ethical production across retail and wholesale, I've built strong, personal relationships with social enterprises and manufacturers around the world, from Bali to India, Cambodia to Kenya, and closer to home across Europe and the UK. I've travelled extensively to work directly with skilled producers who are the experts at what they do, combining design and craft to create beautiful, quality products.

In recent years I've contributed to the WFTO Gateway to Fair Trade Fashion project and delivered on an 8-month project with Stronger Together, supporting the evolution of the UK Apparel and Merchandising Programme and working against modern slavery in supply chains.

More recently I completed a Masters in Sustainable Development, deepening the knowledge I'd already been living and breathing for years. I care deeply about rebalancing power relations for women in the global supply chain, and since 2020 I've been bringing that experience directly to value-led businesses, helping them build ethical manufacturing practice they can be proud of. Nothing brings me more joy than connecting well-intentioned brands with the right manufacturing partnerships.
